Gladstone Commercial has acquired a 42,000 sq ft. office building in Richmond, VA occupied by Nationwide Insurance. The company utilizes the building as its Virginia Operations Center and property claims processing center. Gladstone Commercial has acquired a 347,000 sq ft. warehouse/manufacturing building in Cleveland, OH occupied by Pennzoil Quaker State. Pennzoil Quaker State is a wholly–owned subsidiary of Shell Oil Company that uses the facility for production and distribution of consumer car care products including Rain-X, Blue Coral, Black Magic, Westley's (exterior cleaning products), Slick 50 (engine treatment), Fix-a-Flat (tire inflator), Gumout (carburetor spray), Outlaw and Snap (fuel additives). www.pennzoil.com

The company was recently acquired by a private equity firm. Homemade Brand Foods Company, Inc. provides a complete line of Home Meal Replacement products, prepared salads and desserts for the retail, food service and institutional trades. Gladstone Commercial has completed sale-leaseback transactions of three office/industrial buildings with Metal Spinners, Inc. totaling 154,000 sq. ft. Two buildings are in Angola, IN and one is in Rock Creek, IL. The properties include Metal Spinners, Inc. headquarters and two of its manufacturing facilities.
